Prior Felony?

If you have a prior felony conviction, you should be aware that Governor Beshear signed an Executive Order that restores voting rights to people with prior non-violent felony convictions in Kentucky, that have completed full sentencing.

Check for eligibility to vote in Kentucky at: CivilRightsRestoration.ky.gov

You will need to submit:
name
birthdate
county where felony was committed

If you check the website and it states “inconclusive” then call the DOC at (502) 782-9731 to inquire. Your rights may have been restored, but you may not listed in the online database.

If you have questions call: (502) 782-9731 or email CivilRights.Restoration@ky.gov

If your rights have not been restored by the Executive Order, you do not have felony charges pending or owe restitution, you may apply to have your voting rights restored.
